About Us

Mr. Burgasser is one the owners and managing partners of the firm. His association with Larry H. Warren, PE, PC began in 1989. He has conducted in excess of 20,000 inspections including residential, industrial and commercial. He has total engineering experience of over 45 years dating to 1980, including employment as an engineer at E.I. DuPont and Eastman Kodak. He also managed one of the carpenter and trade shops at Kodak during his time there. Doug is a Mechanical Engineer with wide ranging experience in HVAC, piping systems, building construction, etc. In addition to providing inspections, he consults on a variety of topics including water infiltration, roofing and siding problems, drainage problems, ventilation, HVAC and others. He has particular interest and expertise in historic and older homes. Doug is a native of Buffalo, New York and has resided in the Rochester Area since 1982. He is both a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer and a New York State Licensed Home Inspector. Doug is also a NYS Licensed Mold Assessor.  He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. Doug and his wife enjoy time with their four adult sons and their two granddaughters.

Mr. Wurzer is one of the owners and managing partners of the firm and has been with the firm since 1999. Since that time he has conducted over 14,000 inspections of residential and commercial properties. He has total engineering experience of over 35 years. Prior to joining the firm, Tom’s background as a Mechanical Engineer included extensive construction and design experience as an engineering manager and as an HVAC and Plumbing design engineer. Tom has performed hundreds of detailed energy audits. He is a native of Rochester, a Webster resident and a graduate of Fairport High School. Tom is a NYS Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), and NYS Licensed Mold Assessor and a NYS Licensed Home Inspector.

Tom is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a graduate of the University of Rochester with an MBA concentrating in entrepreneurship. In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing trumpet with ensembles in the Webster, Fairport and Victor-Farmington areas as well as spending time with his wife and three children.

Jessie is our Office Manager and generally the first person you will contact at our office. She draws on her knowledge as a former Realtor to make the inspection scheduling and delivery process as seamless as possible. Her goal is to ensure every client is treated with excellent customer service throughout the entire process. Jessie has years of top-level sales experience along with quality assurance management experience, and she knows the value of building a successful brand through genuine relationships.

Jessie resides in the Village of Fairport and enjoys spending time with her family.
